Water System Treatment - MagSert Conditioners

Water conditioning is a generic term used to describe the treatment of water systems. At MagRock Inc, we created a magnetic water conditioner product line called MagSert. Our MagSert water conditioners are based on science, numerous case studies, and 40+ years of hands-on experience in water systems and powerful magnets. Our MagSert water conditioner products change the chemical behavior of minerals in water systems, so the minerals do not bind to pipes which reduces the damaging effects of fouling or scale build-up. When we say water systems, we are referring to the lines and pipes that provide water for plumbing features and appliances within your home and/or business. Water systems include showers, tubs, sinks, faucets, irrigation system, HVAC lines,
dishwashers, boilers, garden hoses, refrigeration systems, washing machines, and anything else that receives water through a pipe or water line from the main water source in your home, farm, or business.

Water conditioning treatment includes variations such as salt based, magnetic, filtered, reverse osmosis, softeners, chelation, chemicals, and other types.  Water system treatments include magnetic water conditioners such as our patent pending MagSert products that change the chemical behavior of elements (so minerals do not scale) to treatments that remove the minerals that cause the scale build-up, or to water conditioners that replace the minerals that cause fouling or accumulation of unwanted minerals with more neutral ions such as salt. Water pipes have other stuff flowing through -besides just water or wastewater. Minerals, chemicals, and bacterial content is also
in water pipes and lines. Over time, minerals can cause a film or scale to build up within the pipes (fouling) which cause pipes to clog, overflow, burst, and corrode. This build up also impacts water quality and can cause hard water, which makes skin and hair dry, soap or shampoo harder to later, creates films and stains on faucets and drains, and makes everything harder to clean because of the scummy film that has formed. Hardness is caused by compounds of calcium and magnesium, and by a variety of other metals. According to the USGS, general guidelines for classification of hard water are: 180 mg/L as hard; and more than 180 mg/L as very hard. The higher saturation and accumulation or fouling of sediments and minerals (plus the age and material of the water pipes) decreases water flow, increases energy costs, reduces operational efficiency, increases cleaning costs, while also increasing maintenance and repair costs from clogs, cleanings, and damaged
