The MagSert® W-PX-675-2 conditions the water feeding your clothes washer to help reduce the scale and mineral buildup hard water leaves in the valves and lines — which may help your washer run cleaner for longer. It's designed to encourage dissolved minerals to form softer crystals that are less likely to harden onto surfaces.
What it is — and isn't: MagSert® conditions water. It is not a softener or filter, and it doesn't remove anything from your water — including paint or pigments, so it won't affect your colors. The minerals stay in; MagSert® changes how they behave. Results build over weeks and vary with your local water.

NOTE: 2 units are included, for the hot and cold supply lines.
Installation: Remove both hoses from the back of the washing machine, thread a MagSert® W-PX-675-2 onto each incoming water line, and reattach the hoses. Done — no tools beyond what's already at the connection.
Note: Water quality and mineral content vary by region. Areas with high mineral levels show more visible scale and algae buildup, making treatment effects more noticeable. In low mineral regions, treatment benefits emerge more gradually.
